Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, is celebrated with great enthusiasm. The 41-day Mandalakalam is observed with devotional penance, special pujas, and lamp worship at night. There are special pujas and lamp decorations for the Makaravilak on the Makara Jyothi night.41 ദിവസത്തെ മണ്ഡലകാലം ഭക്തിനിർഭരമായ തപസ്സ്, പ്രത്യേക പൂജകൾ, രാത്രിയിലെ ദീപാരാധന എന്നിവയോടെയാണ് ആചരിക്കുന്നത്. മകരജ്യോതി രാത്രിയിലെ മകരവിളക്കിന് പ്രത്യേക പൂജകളും ദീപാലങ്കാരവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

A democratically elected administrative committee from the members of NSS Karayogam No. 312 of Pangada coordinates and runs the affairs of the Temple. This committee oversees the temple rituals, maintenance, festivals and community relations.പങ്ങട 312 ആം നമ്പർ എൻ എസ് എസ് കരയോഗ അംഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ജനാധിപത്യപരമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ഭരണസമിതിയാണ് മൂത്തേടത്ത് ശ്രീ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്ര കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഏകോപിപ്പിച്ചു നടത്തുന്നത്. ക്ഷേത്രാചാരങ്ങൾ, പരിപാലനം, ഉത്സവങ്ങൾ, സമൂഹസമ്പർക്കം എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നത് ഈ കമ്മിറ്റിയാണ്.
